I know this is probably the last thing you are thinking about right now, when the weather is warming up, but I have been buying too many bananas that end up turning, so I whipped up my tried and true Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Banana Bread recipe, and wanted to share with you.
This gets gobbled up within a day or two at our house. I was barely able to photograph it without the kids trying to eat it!
You can serve it with or without anything on top, but it does go well with butter. Mmmm.
I always cut up fruit to go with treats. It makes me feel better about serving all this sugar. Ha!
This recipe can be made egg-free as well. Having compound allergies is no fun, especially when everyone has different combinations of them, in the same house. We have GF and EF and I cannot do dairy (except butter). This recipe fits that bill nicely, at the same time being really tasty. *I do go a little crazy with the mini chocolate chips…because, well, CHOCOLATE.
Ready to make your own? Here’s a printable recipe just for you!
You can add nuts if you want to, but I am a no-nuts-in-my-banana-bread kind of gal.
