Today I am sharing a project that my ten year old did by herself. This one was made in one afternoon, from start to finish!
Easy Twig Frame
Seriously easy. Falafel went outside and collected thin sticks (which was not hard to do with all the wind we have had- there was plenty!). She then grabbed an old frame we had. She broke the sticks into small pieces to fit around the edges.
She then hot glued them around the edges. That is it. They don’t have to go a certain way. You can glue them vertically, horizontally, or even angled like she did.
If you want a neater look, you can pick off the glue strings, but we both really liked the effect, so she left them.
PS- That photo was taken with our good friend when The Bee (now 16) was only 2.
PSS- If your child wants to do this, please make sure they can use the hot glue gun, or supervise closely.
