Warrior Cat Dress

Of course no Warrior Cat party would be complete without a new cat garment!

Remember the Olivia Portrait Dress by Mod Kid patterns? With a few changes, I turned it into a fun Warrior Cat Dress!

I didn’t add the lace up detail with eyelets, or the collar. Instead, I kept it very simple to show off that fabric. It is called “Realistic Cats Black” by Timeless Treasures (I got it at Fabricworm). I lined it with black flannel and made the skirt panels with it too. Cats like to be cozy, you know.

For Falafel’s cat face, I just googled images, and then winged it. I did use this make up (affiliate link) because it is the only face paint my kids can use without breaking out!

  1. Oh, wow–her expressions! I love the photos with the mouse. She seems to have a very intuitive interpretation of being a cat! 🙂

  2. Oh, what a lucky girl! Such a super fun dress! Enjoyed seeing all of your creations for this birthday party. My girl is currently reading the Warriors books and is addicted to the series. Hope the birthday party is a smashing success!

    1. Thanks Rachel! My girl has been reading the same books in the different warrior series over and over for years now. I think she may be obsessed! LOL Thank you:)

  3. My 9-year-old loves the Warrior cats, too. He’d be so jealous–not of the dress, but, you know, the other party stuff. It all looks great!
