Catching the Sun

My husband and I are really trying to get back into walking together. It is so good to get the blood moving, in the winter, especially. But that seems to be the most challenging time to do it!

parktreelightm It is cold. Not even as cold as it is in most of the country, but cold enough to make me not want to purposely go out in it.

parkbarkm The exception, of course, is when the sun comes out. That light has a way of making everything look good, luring us out of our dens. Making 40 degrees seem like 60.

parkm There are more than a few places to walk around here. Sometime we have to consider what will be enticing for our girls as well. Our translucent beauties need the vitamin D so much, as well as good ol’ fashioned exercise too.

parkducks2m They love things with wheels. Bikes and skateboards are much more fun than walking (to them).

parkbirdm I prefer to stay as close to the ground as possible. Walking is fairly safe good.

parkducks3m This park fits the bill.

parktrees9m It is amazing that sometimes, all you need is a little light to see the world differently.

parkohmym Another goal of mine this year is to clearly define what blog content I will have.

parktres6m I love the photography aspect. I also love to sew. And my family. And the occasional craft. And I love me a good recipe. Sheesh. I cannot seem to narrow it down.

parklinem What about you? What would you like to see here in this space?

Is there anything you would like to see LESS of?

  1. I love the eclectic mix of blog content. It’s very fun. The only thing I wish is that I got an e-mail when you reply to my comments. At this point I just have to check back and see if there is a reply. Not sure if that’s change-able or not! 🙂

    1. Yes! I have tried to do that, but it doesn’t seem to be an option. I will talk to my husband about it (the true techy brains in this house)! Thanks Kristi!
