Noelle Party Dress for any holiday

I recently had the opportunity to test a pattern for Peek-a-Boo Pattern shop.

The Noelle Party Dress

I love love love it.

The sizing was perfect. Most bodice patterns are too wide in the shoulders for my petite little nut. This one sewed up very nicely the first time around.

noelle13m I picked out some of that Day of the Dead fabric that I had in my stash. I thought it was fitting for Halloween. Or any day really. Who wouldn’t want a bunch of celebrating-skeletons on their clothing? She is super thrilled about wearing this dress and has several times now. Always a mark of success.

noelle7mm *As a side note: I am stretching this week for letter “I”.

I used an old sheet for the collar (and sash too) and then made my own piping out of the dancing skeleton fabric.

noelle14m I chose to do a zip back, even though the pattern comes with the option to do buttons, as well. And although I didn’t have an invisible zipper,  I still like it with the stripe of blue peeking out.

The sash is just tied on.

noelle6m Think of the fabric combination possibilities! Casual or fancy works.

noelle1m I think it says “little girl” loud and clear even with the dancing skeletons.

PS- I didn’t get compensated (just a copy of her pattern) or even asked to do a review. As always, I am happy to share the great stuff I find with you.
