Over here at
Nicely done! I downloaded the pattern, but haven’t decided if I’m going to sew it yet. Spent the day teaching three 9-11 year old girls sew up a geranium tunic for themselves and their American girl dolls! What a kick!
Thanks Kristi! It is a quick sew (especially if you fully line the bodice like I did).
The longest part was figuring out what size to make:)
WOW! That is awesome. Young girls are so much fun to teach sewing to. They are so enthusiastic!
Good for you!
YAYAY!!!! I left the ruffle off mine too….much for the same reason! I love your belts with it —so lovely for a summer sundress or a fancy dress!
Thank you! I love that you left it off too:)
Beautiful! I love that you got that fun fabric from BNB. It made for a sweet summer dress.
Thanks so much Trish! You may just see me food shopping in it around town:) LOL
I LOVE free fabric, so much.
Wowza! So gorgeous. You AND the coffee date dress.
Oh Lady. I am blushing.
Sometimes I feel like that song “Brick house” was made for me.
Love it! Such an amazing fabric choice and it fits you so good. I was going tosew along, I even printed the pattern, but a lot got in between and I guess I have not time anymore.
Thanks Magda! It is such a quick sew. I was looking forward to seeing yours!
You have until Friday!!
LOVE!!! That print is so fun! Great job!
It was fun to do (and wear:).
This is super adorable. It looks especially great with the wide red belt. And I am in love with the print. Great job!
Thanks Andrea! I so LOVE this fabric. I never thought the designer mattered much, but the quality on Moda fabrics is awesome.
I love the fabric!!! And the red belt… adorable!! I also linked up to the sew a long… so fun! Loving all the projects… Emily@nap-timecreations.com
I love sewing along:)
Going now to check yours out!
Love love love this! The map fabric is just adorable. And I’m quite jealous that you and your daughter wear the same size shoes. Mine is just not old enough for that yet. You should let your hubby know that those rocks look like they NEEDED disciplining!
LOL Thank you Angela! Your comment actually make me giggle.
My daughter is only 13, so I fear we will not wear the same size for long! She is already a 9.
Thanks for stopping by!
