I tested some more

I was fortunate to be chosen to test a pattern for another designer! Abby from Sew Much Ado needed pattern testers for her new pattern: The Skipper Top, and I fit the bill.

test4T7m The first one I did was the fold over option. No bands involved. Really simple and quick to whip up.

test4T4m I love that tiny pocket!

test4T1m Very sweet. I really enjoyed sewing it, and she loves to wear it.

Then Abby asked for another round of testing so she can fine-tune the pattern and I jumped at the chance to sew it again.

skipperarmsm This time I did the band option. There are bands on the arms and around the neckline and one around the waist.

skipper2m I love this one just as much, if not more!

skipperimaginem I chose the “heart shaped” pocket this time. So sweet.

skippersassm This knit was fantastic to work with. And it looks great on too!

skipperfunm I usually shy away from using a pattern for knits, especially one with bands, because frankly, I was a little scared.

skippereyesm pfft. Silly, really. Nothing to fear, and it was super easy.

skipperbandm I don’t think I will ever fear patterns for knits, ever again.

Thanks, Abby, for allowing me to test this fabulous pattern!
