I found this brilliant idea over at Saltwater-kids for a fort-in-a-bag.

fortbagmOur friend celebrated his 5th Birthday this weekend, so I whipped up a sweet tote and stuffed it full of all he will need to make his own fort.

A flashlight, glowsticks, a flat sheet, clips, clothespins, suction cups, rope, and a book to read while he is cozy in his very own play area.

fortsnapmI added a magnetic snap to the tote so it would be easy to open and close for 5 year old hands.

fortmI printed out a tag that was on the Saltwater-kids site.

Done!

I so wish I would have had something like this as a kid. I never even thought to put all of these things together to make fort-building easy. Brilliant!

I hope he likes it.
