I made very attainable goals for myself this new year. To arrive at this list, I’m assuming as most people do, I just looked at my life and assessed what I enjoy and needed more of.

Love More

Listen More

Move {my body} More

Find More Kindness

Hug More

Relax More

Who doesn’t need more of all those things??!!

While it isn’t quite the new year, yet, our kids started this new time off by trying something new…

Oysters!

Not just any Oysters, though….Raw Oysters.

Falafel just licked hers. The Bee did actually eat hers, but then thought she might throw up. {She didn’t}.

The only one who thoroughly enjoyed himself was my husband, who consumed 16 by himself.

I am proud of our girls, though, for branching out and trying something new, and ultimately discovering what doesn’t work for them. Cause that is important too.

Do you make New Year Goals? Do you stick to them?

That’s great they tried them (I know many adults who won’t!) I will eat them ‘Kilpatrick’ but can’t do ‘natural’ :) Did you like them?

They are great New Years goals – very real and do-able… I always set goals that are too elaborate, so really setting myself up to fail! Might take a leaf out of your book this year – as you say, who doesn’t want those things ;)

    I won’t try them! LOL
They are nasty. But Jim LOVES them. *gag*
I have learned not to set goals that I won’t keep, cause then I feel like a failure with goals that I set.
    How silly is that?
I hope you and your family have a lovely New Year filled with all that you want!
