My sweet Hobbit

After I made all the cloaks {here}, I went thrifting for the rest of my sweet little daughter’s costume. She wants to be Bilbo from The Hobbit for her birthday.

Who am I to deny such fabulous requests?

Without further ado, here is a whole mess of photos of…

I made her wear a sweater while we took photos in the 34 degree weather. *aw ma!*

The rest of the outfit, I actually found at Value Village. I think it cost me a whopping $5.00.

She made the necklace. “It is Thorin’s key, Mama!”

Why, yes it is!

She is beyond thrilled with the way it turned out.

Now I just have to make her the feet. Yup. Hairy Hobbit FEET.

I have no idea how I am even going to do that. Something with slippers, perhaps?

For this minute, though, I am enjoying the fact that I made all the favors.

That’s no small feat {feet}. Ha!

I couldn’t resist.

Have you read The Hobbit?

Do you make your children costumes for their Birthday Parties??
