When Falafel came to me and told me that she wanted to be Lacey from Barbie’s Twelve Dancing Princesses, I tried to genericify (OK not a word, but I tried to make it a more generic costume) it into just princess.
This girl of mine has such a vision, though and would not be swayed. The costume had to look just like it did in the movie {which is really just a regular satin dress}. Purple headband.

Really I should be happy to get off so easy. I don’t know what I was thinking??
