I can’t believe the discussions in this house, lately.
Halloween Costumes.

When did we get into the new school year and multiple extra curricular activities and talking about Halloween?? Seriously. I know I knew, but I just am amazed at how 2012 has flown by. Pretty soon (dare I say) we will be planning to celebrate the rest of the family’s Birthdays. I really wasn’t done enjoying the sun! *sigh*
Yikes. OK moving on.
Last year’s Fire Costume
Anyhow, Halloween costumes. They actually begin discussing costumes the day after Halloween for the next year. I kid you not. We have been everywhere from Merida (from Brave) to a triceratops (guess who?) to a female Robin Hood to one of Barbie’s 12 Dancing princesses. Oh my.
We take this decision fairly seriously here. We all really love to celebrate Halloween/ the arrival of Fall.
Our costumes a few years ago
Sugar and dressing up, getting together with friends for sugar and dressing up. What’s not to like?
I think we have settled on two reasonably easy-to-make costumes. I think. Once I start them, there is no going back. They have been warned.
I will begin them soon. I know I should. I just have to stop denying that September is almost over and Fall is officially here.
