I’ve recently had to branch out and try new ways of uploading and editing my photos {when I say “edit” I am refering to the very little cropping, resizing, sharpening, and color tweaking I do}. We upgraded our computer, and it has left me a little disoriented. My precious Graphic Converter {that I have used for the last 4 years to edit my photos} is no longer compatible with the computer we have. While we do have Photoshop, I find that it has way too many options and is very cluttered for my well-organized brain to take in. Visually, it is confusing. Too many LAYERS! I have been using it for the basics and I know I will get the hang of it. But until that happens, a friend suggested I try Pic Monkey as well. So far I have only played around with it for a very short time, but I love how easy it is to use.

Here is a photo I took unedited:

And this is after Pic Monkey:

And another:

Heh. Clearly this can be another huge time-suck, but a fun one.

This feature is my favorite. I’ve always wondered how people do that!

My husband is searching for a version of Graphic Converter that is compatible with our computer (THANK YOU HONEY). I just love the simplicity of it. Of course, then I would still have to use Photoshop for watermarking. Or Pic Monkey. Or??

*sigh*

How do you edit your photos?

*BTW This is an unsponsored post. Nobody asked me to write about any applications. I just really wanted to share and get your opinions!
