Have I told you how much I love the internet, lately?
Well, I do. So much. From helping my husband fix our lawnmower, to giving me a recipe for a food from my childhood, the internet is awesome.
Anyhow, when I was a child growing up in NJ, my parents would often take me and my sister to diners. And after our dining experience was complete, we always looked forward to grabbing a heaping spoonful of these buttery minty yummy candies on the way out.
Last week, I found a recipe for them!
Over at Gluesticks is where I stumbled on this fantastically simple recipe to share with my girls.
Since it has some dairy in it, I could not eat any. But both Falafel and The Bee are more than happy to eat them all. It’s mostly butter and sugar!
I will say that it was, hands-down, the strangest dough I have ever worked with. It crumbles, but if you treat it gently, it stays together.
You can find the recipe on the Gluesticks link above.
